Come From Away Musical at Segerstrom Center for the Arts

Broadway’s COME FROM AWAY is a Best Musical winner all across North America, and it is coming to
Segerstrom Center for the Arts!

CFA-Final-Artwork 6600x3300.jpg

This New York Times Critics’ Pick takes you into the heart of the remarkable true story of 7,000 stranded passengers and the small town in Newfoundland that welcomed them. Cultures clashed and nerves ran high, but uneasiness turned into trust, music soared into the night, and gratitude grew into enduring friendships.

Don’t miss this breathtaking new musical written by Tony® Nominees Irene Sankoff and David Hein, and helmed by this year’s Tony-winning Best Director, Christopher Ashley. Newsweek cheers, “It takes you to a place you never want to leave!”

On 9/11, the world stopped.

On 9/12, their stories moved us all.

Canadians in Orange County has secured a block of seats, will hold a pre-show reception, and will enjoy a cast talk-back after the performance. Come on out and join your fellow Canadians and bring your American friends to enjoy a truly uplifting story of how we came together as neighbors to help in the aftermath of 9/11.

This performance of “Welcome to the Rock” from the 2017 Tonys is a great taste of what is in store for us.

Learn more about his wonderful story on the musical’s website here.

TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE SOON

The Tragically Hip - Orange County Viewing Party

The Tragically Hip - Man Machine Poem Tour

The Tragically Hip are on their final tour across Canada. Fitting, that they will play their very last show IN Kingston, Ontario, where the band started!

While many of us living here in Orange County are unable to attend the show in Kingston, the CBC will be broadcasting The Hip's final show, live, over the Internet! Let’s get together, and raise a toast to this iconic Canadian band, and enjoy the live stream together as fellow Canadians.

Proceeds, after venue fees, for the event will go to the Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research. If you can't make the event, please consider making a donation directly to the fund here: https://donate.sunnybrook.ca/braincancerresearch
